Sunday Mornings

The joint Child Ministries Team has a Sunday School program for the children of all three congregations, age 4 through high school, that starts at 9:15 am. Nursery Care is available for infants through 4 years old during the education and worship times. Child Care through age 8 is available during worship times. However, all children are welcome in each of the worship services.

Salem Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Salem is also a ‘Reconciling in Christ’ (RIC) congregation welcoming into the life and leadership of the congregation people of all sexual orientations and gender Identities.

Lyndale United Church of Christ is part of the United Church of Christ.  The Lyndale community attempts by God’s grace and our practices, to be a spirited justice seeking, practicing, prayerful, playful, praising, progressive, accessible, open and affirming community in the LynLake neighborhood and beyond.

First Christian Church is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), believing the body of Christ is not complete until all people are included at the table and we welcome all people without regard to economic status, race, sexual orientation, background or cultural upbringing. We welcome GLBT people into full fellowship and leadership in our church without reservation and are part of GLAD Alliance.  No matter where you are in our faith journeys, all are invited to worship, pray, learn, share, play, and minister with us, among us and through us.

Ecumenical  & Community Programs 

Lectionary Bible Study: Wednesday mornings at 8:00 am.  Join people from all three congregations in a Bible Study around the scripture for upcoming Sundays, based on the Narrative Lectionary.

Women’s Ministry: Thursday mornings, 9 am – noon. This group of women  meets weekly to knit/crochet prayer shawls and great fellowship. Come to create prayer shawls or just to enjoy the coffee, treats, and great conversation.  Bring a sack lunch  if you’d like for when the group takes a break from knitting at 11:30 am or so.
